Effects of Practice Program of Spontaneous Qigong for Stress, Mind and Body Therapy

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the cure effect of spontaneous Qigong practice program developed based on its developed motion methods for mind and body therapy. The subjects of this study were 19 male and female employees at 20s-50s in the same workplace located in Gyeonggi Province. A total of 20 sessions of spontaneous haengong training program for 35 minutes in each session were given to the experimental group of 9 subjects. Data were collected and analyzed from survey about changes in mind and body after training program of spontaneous Qigong was conducted once haeng methods of spontaneous Qigong and training program were developed. Spontaneous haeng gong training program was developed in 3 steps. Second, the result of study on effect of spontaneous haeng gong training program on mind and body cure was statistically significant. In the area of social psychological stress, there was high significance in the experimental group before and after training, and between experimental and control groups. In terms of fatigue recover, there was high significance in the experimental group before and after training, and between experimental and control groups. In terms of reduction of anxiety, there was high significance in the experimental group before and after training, and there was significance between experimental and control groups. In the area of state of usual mood, there was high significance in the experimental group before and after training, but there was no significance between experimental and control groups. In the area of self recognition, there was no significance in the experimental group before and after training, and between experimental and control groups. In the area of feeling for life, there was significance in the experimental group before and after training, and between experimental and control groups. In the area of satisfaction of overall life, there was very significant difference in experimental group before and after training, and between experimental and control groups. The satisfaction of overall life was increased from 70 % to 80%. Taken all together, it was shown that the spontaneous haeng gong training program had a diverse and remarkable cure effect on body, mind and general life. The spontaneous haeng gong training program in which awareness, action and breathing are united and go together is based on actual experience. Since actions are simple, flexible and easy to learn and it will take a relatively short training period, it is thought that it is the curing method that helps those who live under the fierce competition in a harsh world to live a happy life in which body, mind and spirit are harmonized.
